There are more than 400 U.S. military bases (not located in the U.S.) worldwide. Many of these bases have populations that are equivalent to mid-size and large U.S. cities. And the vast majority of Troops living on these bases aren't voting.
TAP is planning a large advertising campaign in Stars and Strips newspaper (a newspaper read by active-duty service members on U.S. military bases abroad) to change this.
In addition to newspaper ads, we plan to also run public service announcements with on-base radio stations.
Our 2-fold advertising campaign will help troops successfully register, and then vote absentee.
It is crucial that we have strong absentee voting numbers from military members. With your help, we'll increase military absentee voting just in time for the 2020 Election.
